Paris Fashion Week is one of the most prominent fashion weeks around the whole world, along with London, New York, and Milan. As such, it is a week-long event that allows some of the world most well-known fashion designers, brands or “houses” to exhibit their latest collections in runway shows of sometimes fantastic proportions. As well as the runway events and trade shows, Paris Fashion Week is also an opportunity for several other related exhibitions, grand openings, promotional events and lavish celebrity-studded parties. Paris, being one of the cultural metropolises of the fashion world, has plenty of experience with hosting such events, since the Paris Fashion Week’s inception in 1973.

Paris Fashion Week does not have one central location, but takes place in various venues around the city.
