Fashion Space Gallery presents “Leather: Second Skin” as a celebration of the 125th anniversary of Cordwainers at London College of Fashion. The exhibition showcases the works of makers at different career stages, offering a wide range of unique interpretations of leather. Each of the participants represents an individual approach, creating provocative and challenging pieces as a result of a mix of traditional techniques and cutting edge technology. The chosen works prove that leather is a highly versatile material, easily transformative according to the makers personal taste and artistic view.
