The International City of Lace and Fashion puts Iris Van Herpen in the spotlight by introducing her avant-garde fashion world to the public. The young Dutch ArtEZ-graduate created herself a cult following and is known for her sculptural and futuristic Haute Couture. She is often compared to the likes of Hussein Chalayan, Rei Kawakubo and Martin Margiela. The exhibition features more than thirty pieces, made between 2008 and 2012, that show her innovative and conceptual style.
