The exhibition ‘Beyond Bling: Jewelry from the Lois Boardman collection’ is on shoe at LACMA, Los Angeles, from the 2nd October 2016 to the 5th February 2017.

LACMA presents the Lois Boardman collection of contemporary jewelry, composed of more than 300 pieces that the collector has gifted to the museum. A selection of 50 of those constitutes the exhibition that explores the different approaches towards jewellery design. Objects realized with non-traditional techniques and materials, or objects that convey personal or political meanings are the protagonist of the exhibition. ‘Beyond Bling: Jewelry from the Lois Boardman collection’ has been organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with the support of the Pasadena Art Alliance and the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG).
